Aarogya Setu app mandatory for passengers on Special Rajdhani trains

According to a report by The Indian Express, Passengers who are traveling by the Special Rajdhani trains commencing from today will have to install The Aarogya Setu app compulsory.

While the guidelines issued by the railways for the 15 pairs of special trains running between Delhi and major cities of the country did not say installing the mobile app was mandatory, a late night (12:24 am) tweet by the railway ministry made it compulsory.

With over 83.5 million active users already, Aarogya Setu is an app developed by the Government of India for tracking coronavirus patients. It is now mandatory for government and private sector employees to download the Aarogya Setu mobile application to strengthen the efforts to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
